8 Days Turkey Tour by bus - Istanbul, Cappadocia, Pamukkale and Ephesus - starting from 440 euro
Day 1: Istanbul
Upon your arrival at the Istanbul Ataturk airport, you will be greeted at the gate by Chora Travel Staff and transferred to your hotel at Sultanahmet. After check-in at the hotel, you will got a brief instructions and review of your itinerary. You will have the rest of the day to see Istanbul on your own and/or relax. If you would like, we can arrange an activities for you - for example: Turkish Bath (hamam) or an Oriental Dinner Show - Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2: Istanbul (Free Day - No Guide)
It is a free day for you to explore Istanbul old city, all the places are just 5 to 10 minutes walk distance from your hotel. Many places are worth a visit: Historic Areas of Istanbul (UNESCO World Heritage List) prides itself on: the 6th-century Hagia Sophia, the 6th century Basilica Cistern, the ancient Hippodrome of Constantine, the 15th century Grand Bazaar, the 15th century Fatih complex and Topkapi Palace, the 16th-century Suleymaniye Mosque, the 17th century Blue Mosque, the former Church of the Holy Saviour of Chora with its mosaics and paintings dating from the 14th and 15th centuries and many other buildings including baths, cisterns, aqueducts and tombs. At the end of the Tour you will be transferred to bus station for take an overnight bus to Cappadocia. (*Breakfast)
Day 3: Northern Cappadocia Tour
After your arrival in Cappadocia you will be transferred to hotel. After check-in we will picked you up for your full day guided Tour of the Northern Cappadocia Region (by minibus) to see the unforgettable works of Mother Nature: The Goreme National Park (UNESCO World Heritage List) - spectacular landscape and rock-hewn sanctuaries.Devrent Valley - red lunar landscape. Pasabag - Monks Valley - fairy chimneys (mushroom shaped). Cavusin Village with its cut-rock dwellings, stone houses and churches. The old city of Avanos - this region of earthenware pottery overlooks the longest river of Turkey, the Red River. After the Tour you will be transferred to your hotel and have the rest of the evening for explore Goreme City on your own or relax at cave hotel - Overnight in Cappadocia Cave Hotel. (*Lunch)
Day 4: Southern Cappadocia Tour
After breakfast, at your hotel, you will be picked up at 09:30 am and you will join a small guided group for your full day Tour of the Southern Cappadocia Region (by minibus). You will visit amazing places like: Uchisar City with Uchisar Castle - multi-leveled castle hollowed out into the rock. Guvercinlik - Pigeon Valley - spectacular views of the natural cliffs and the man-made caves. City of Kaymakli or Derinkuyu - see the largest Underground Cities after which you will walk in the Rose Valley and explore the beauty of Nature: the rose-colored rocks that vary in hue and intensity depending on the time of day; and the work of human hands: cave churches, cave houses and cave tunnels. During the day you will enjoy a relaxing lunch by the river, featuring local specialties. At the end of the Tour you will be transferred to bus station for take an overnight bus to Pamukkale. Day 5: Pamukkale Tour
Upon your arrival in Pamukkale you will have time for breakfast by your own and after short time of rest, at 09:30 am, you will join a small group for your full day guided Tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis (UNESCO World Heritage List). Pamukkale, which means "cotton castle", has been formed over time by natural hot springs (35 °C), rich in calcium-carbonate, that flow down the slope and form a preternatural landscape: mineral forests, petrified cascades and terraced pools. We will also visit the ancient Greco-Roman Health Spa of Hierapolis - famous for: hot thermal springs (they have been used as a spa since the 2nd century BC) and architectural heritage sites like: Theatre, The Temple of Apollo, Agora and the Necropolis. At the end of the Tour you will be drive to your hotel in Kusadasi (3 hours) - Overnight in Kusadasi. (*Lunch)
Day 6: Ephesus Tour
After breakfast, at your hotel, at 09:00 am, we will picked you up from your hotel and you will be transferred for a full day guided Tour of the Ephesus Ruins. Walking through the streets of this ancient Greek city you will see many sites of architectural heritage like: the Temple of Artemis (one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World), the Temple of Hadrian, the Library of Celsius, the Great Theater and Scholastic Baths. After the ancient city you will visit the House of the Virgin Mary. At the end of the day you will be transferred to bus station for take an overnight bus to Istanbul. (*Breakfast & Lunch)
Day 7: Istanbul (Free Day - No Guide)
After your arrival in Istanbul, please make your own way to your hotel by Metro and Tramway (ask for a details of this route). This is free day for you for explore Istanbul on your own, maybe the best time for last minute shopping at theGrand Bazaar or the Spice Bazaar. If you would like to we can arrange a Bosphorus Cruise or a special daily tour to the Princes Islands - Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 8: Istanbul
After breakfast, at your hotel, you will have free time for explore Istanbul on your own. According to your flight time we will transferred you to Ataturk Airport, unless you decide to extend your time with us by enjoying another one of our many tours. (*Breakfast)
